Puerto Rico is small island of the Greater Antilles, approximately 1,000 miles (1,600km) southeast of Miami. San Juan is the capital city and the home of one of the busiest ports in the Caribbean. San Juan and is the 2nd largest sea port in the area (after New York City).San Juan harbor is the center of shipping in the Caribbean and the fourth busiest in the western hemisphere based on container volume. Although there is no regular passenger service by ship to the island, cruise ships bring more than one million people a year to the Puerto Rico.
